Looking for a smaller Kau Kau Box with all of the flavors, convenience and value of our weekly boxes? Kau Kau Box Lite is for you! Enjoy four appetizers, entreés (complete with proteins, starches, and vegetables), desserts and bread slices. The Kau Kau Box Lite is (4) delectable dishes curated by our talented Chef Shaymus Alwin of Hy’s, La Vie and Quiora. Choose from the following two options:

Tuesdays with Chef Shaymus: $105

  • Delivery from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ($15)
  • Pick-up at Ala Moana Center, Atkinson Drive Entrance (Ground Level Parking) from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (free)

Saturdays with Chef Shaymus: $105

  • Delivery from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ($15)
  • Pick-up at Ala Moana Center, Atkinson Drive Entrance (Ground Level Parking) from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (free)

Chef Shaymus Alwin


Executive Chef Shaymus Alwin brings more than 20 years of extensive knowledge and experience in the restaurant and culinary industry. He is passionate about bringing a sense of where food comes from to every table and how to maintain it’s sustainability. After holding an executive chef position at Bistro Catering, where he often served over 1,000 guests at events, Alwin joined the culinary team at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, Waikiki. During his time there, Alwin received the “Best overall TASTE” Award in 2016 and the “Best Use of Ingredients” Award in 2017 at the Hawaii Food Manufacturer Association Cook Off.

Chef Alwin is a 10-time award winner of Honolulu Magazine Hale Aina Award in Best Farm to Table and Best Seafood categories. Alwin is now the Executive Chef of all G.Lion Hawaii culinary concepts at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach. With his culinary team at G.Lion Hawaii, Alwin is leading a team of young, talented, passionate culinarians who create and produce Kau Kau Box Lite for all locals and visitors alike.
